Hi so I read somewhere that if you put your gecko on calci sand, if he doesn't die from impaction he can die from overdose of calcium (not even by eating it). My gecko isnt on calci sand but what does worry me is that he sleeps in his calcium dish every day (which is on the hot side.) so im worried that all that calcium all over him all the time will lead to no good. Is this just a myth or not? should I go on the safe side and just put it somewhere else in the tank? Thanks.

For best results, dust feeders with calcium/vitamin D3 every other feeding and take the calcium dish out of the enclosure.
