My gecko is in a 12 by 12 by 12 cage . If i change the cage would he be stressed out ? I only got a 3 days and a friend of mine is selling his terra ( wich is maybe more suitable for a ground dweller ) . ill maybe wait 2 weeks before placing him in a wider one
The 12x12x12 is fine if your gecko is a baby, but a big small if it's an adult. Minimum size for adults is 10 gallon which is 10x20 inches, or 200sq. in. as opposed to your enclosure which is 144sq.in. Also, the square shape makes it really difficult for there to be a heat gradient. If you have something more appropriate, I'd make the switch now since your gecko is already adjusting so it's not such a big deal for it to adjust again.
