burying eggs?

Ok some of you bury and some don't. What are the pros and cons? I bury about 1/2 way so the clutch egg if one hatches won't be disturbed so much -hopefully. Do you have to really adjust your water ratio when burying like that? Or anything diff? I might try a few to see.

I only bury them completely if they seem dehydrated, that way they can get moisture from all sides. Otherwise, I keep the eggs 2/3 - 3/4 covered. I don't adjust the humidity level, doesn't seem nessesary.

The bad thing with burying them all the way is that you can't see if it's going bad and molding.
