Just a quick question,
I dust all food with pure calcium at least one feeding a day, usually afternoon, but i'm not sure if I should be using a multivit also. Live feeders always have a toped up supply of home made gut load made from fish flakes, healthy cereal, calcium powder for good...
Iv just read this wicked story, I'm guessing they has little babies by now? How are they both doing? Or have you separated the little lovers :)
I know it's been a while since the last post but i want more :D
Basically, i know what dermestid larvae are ( the little, furry, black things, usualy found in cricket boxes) and what they are in the cricket tub for, but I'm curious. Are they suitable for my dragon? Not as a staple by any means, or a replacement. Just rather than disposing of them. I put 2 in...
Ok sweet :) sounds like a plan lol
Just one more thing, greens I assume are left it the viv in a shallow dish? And if you feed other live food from time to time, do you still use the tub?
I almost forgot, should I expect him to be sceptical of the tub at first? I wouldn't want to end the new...
Okay, much appreciated, thanks again :) I'll try that for a fortnight, see how he takes.
A plastic container ok to use? Or should it be a glass tank?
And just out if curiosity, you said "did well", you stop that technique or don't you have her anymore?
Okay thanks for the reassurance :) helps alot,
Does it matter if he eats the 5-10 through out the day, on his own accord? (left to hunt) Or should he be eating in one sitting?
I also leave mini mealworms in a dish wthn calcium at all times (switching with fresh ones daily), iv noticed the...
Thanks again for all the helpful advice, but I'm still not happy with his progress.
He eats but in small quantities, and the only way iv had success is if I leave the crickets in the viv, witch Id rather not do. He still sitts there starring at me almost ignoring the feeders as in drop them in...
Iv already downsized lol I'm using the Same viv just put a partition up a 1/3 of the length.
Still isn't eating what I'd like but he ate 5 or so tonight,
Jumping up on to my hand as i was fiddling win the new arraignment, so that's a positive :)
Thanks for the link, I think iv come...

Right now his appetite is rubbish but I guess that's down to the relocation stress as he's only 13-15 weeks old, and 5 days in my care.
He's currently housed in a 4ft viv with all temps correct and...
This is the thing, she recieved it yesterday complete with set up from someone ells who received it from someone Ells two weeks prire to that. I think he took it under he impression that it was sick, why I don't know. He hasn't the first clue on any reptiles what so ever. Anyway like I just...
She also tells me that when she went over to the pet store earlia today the lady there, who I also know, offered to take her as an alliterative option if she couldn't find a home.
I'm thinking maybe this would be a better option in this case, she's got alot of dragons along with meny other...
Okay, thanks I'll be searching alot tonight :)
I'm over my friends house now and this guy looks like there somthing wrong for sure. It's had a vets visit 2 weeks ago like I said in the OP but this dragon hasn't moved since I got here. It's layin flat on it's stomach and can't seem to use it's...
