Mealworm question

I have just breed mealworms for the first time and I was wondering, now that I have baby mealworms, is it necessary to remove the adult beetles to another container? Will the beetles eat the new baby mealworms? Thanks

i have always moved them... i have three containers and the babies i just put in with other mealworms. aliens in the other and beetles in the third. and i just rotate around so they're all separate a little work but it has always done the job for me

just keep feeding them, When you dont...they will eat off the eggs so am told..However as long as you keep feeding they will leave the mealworms and eggs alone. Just keep feeding, and good luck

I have always seperated the beetles after they have been in for a month or so.

I've been doing the same thing. I put the beetles in fresh bedding every 4-5 weeks and keep the old bedding for the eggs/babies in there.

That's what I did today. I put the beetles in their own container with fresh bedding. It took me a while, but I think I have this mealworm breeding thing down now. Thanks
