She Laid! :)

Well the girl i was anxious about laying finally laid last night!

I just saw her lazing about and she looked pretty small looking so i weighed her..... 71grams! only weighed her 2 days ago at 81 so i knew she must have layed. Checked her laybox and yep, my first 2 leo eggs ever!

When i was setting them up in their container to go incubator i was surprised how soft they were(kinda like a little water ballon) I think i was expecting them to be abit hard, is this normal i guess? And my hands never shook so much while trying to lift the eggs! ha, but all went smoothly, just hope i have 2 fertile eggs now

It always seems when we are at our wits end waiting for them to lay or even hatch they come through. WTG

I know how it feels the first time. That just happened for us about 3 weeks ago. I compared the eggs to a marshmallow that is starting to go stale, you know like when you leave the peeps uncovered overnight.

Congrats! Got my first two on 5/4, they felt the same way...but i got them right after they were laid, so they were still very, very soft.
