We went to an event called Rodentfest in Leesport, PA yesterday and got some new mice and our first ratties! Here's some photos of our newbies :)

First here's the only buck mouse we picked up...he is from Mikiodo mousery. He is a pointed blue splashed dominant curly :)

A cute little black merle girl...don't remember who the vendor was...not the best breeding practices but the 2 I got from her were just too cute to pass up.

and the last of the mice...a cute little satin longhaired girl from the same vendor as the black merle....not sure on her color...possibly chocolate or dove roan...hard to tell with the coat type! Her belly is lighter than her back.

These are my first rats and are all so great and have completely different personalities! ......There is a dog nose in a few of the photos.......please excuse that...Foster was curious...lol No ratties were harmed or frightened during their photography sessions!

This boy is a blue velveteen berk from Hannah Hanson...he is going to be one big squishy boy!

The blue is only 5 days older than the manx and is literally twice his size....he's gonna be a big boy!

I love, love, love dumbos. They just have the cutest little faces. I've always wanted a rat, but I honestly don't think I have enough time to devote to them. They really do need more interaction than some of the other critters I own. I'm happy with my one mouse.

Although, a friend of mine just picked up some robo(sp?) hamsters and they are adorable!

Awww! I miss my girls so much. I had a 3 females, a dalmatian, an agouti hooded, and an albino/seal point with just the dark nose.

yeah, sadly i aquired my fiancees start of rat breeding, and fell for the little ratties. thinking about adding some hairless, and tailless if i come across any more. right now i have dumbo rexes, one siameese, and one blue(the spinner). what would i do to make the siamese gene come out more in the only saimese female i have(like the smaller size), as my males all show dumbo rex pheno type?
