So I'm sitting with one of my girls on the couch watching TV, and my 7 year old comes up to me, and this is what happened:

Emma: Dad, I was checking on the geckos, and Kukula was biting Mr. Bill on the head and climbing on top of her... he was like, wiggling his tail!

Me: Come her, Emma, and I'll tell you what that is...

Emma: *smiles* walks closer... he wouldn't let go, he just kept climbing on top of her, and...

Me: Did he have his tail wrapped around her?

Emma: Yeah.

Me: *whispering* That's how they make the babies...

Emma: Giddy excited squeal... runs of to watch more of this new and exciting activity.

This will certainly make her think, and then make me answer more questions.

So I got to find out that my leos have finally started to do the dance of love, and at the same time, take one tiny step closer to explaining the birds and the bees to my kids...

oh, what fun!!

lol nice! and yet kinda disturbing having your kid watch gecko porn...:main_lipsrsealed:

Oh yeah, all three of 'em ran down there and pulled out the drawer... and they were walking around with Mr. hornypants making moves...

I said, "Guys, let's give 'em some time alone. They're having a moment... (that's what I jokingly call it when I'm tryin to hug and smooch mom when the kids are around. It doesn't help, they just shoehorn in all the more.)

So anyway, Yah! eggs for me in bit, hopefully.

Yeah the same thing happened when my daughters hamsters started at it. That was fun to explain to three girls (5,6, & 7). The six year old even asked if that was how she was made. I never imagined that would be how the question would come about.
