Weird stuff

I have been trying to breed superworms well i morphed about 50 into beetles but lately now when i try to morph them they get to the point of turning into but not into full beetles they are like half beetle n half the alien looking thing then they die. its really weird, does anyone know why they do this? thanks for any info

I've been having mealworms do that, too. I'm not sure why.

Yeah, some of my mealworms do that. I usually feed those off--my leos will eat them. I'm not sure they're capable of breeding when they only half morph like that :|

yeah its really disappointing though my worm breeding hasn't taken off yet just haven't had the time or energy to mess with them. but even buying 3000 a month is cheaper than the crickets i got before. i hope yours start doing better.

Are they kept warm, in my understanding if they are kept nice and toasty they will morph faster and larger.

i was about to suggest that.

they are at about 75-80 all the time
but i can move them where its warmer most of the time

go with dubia roaches, takes a while but, once going, theres no stoping them.

i have discoids they are still too small of a colony to feed them too much
