I was just wondering if I need to treat the water I give to my gecko with anything? Is it ok to give them plain tap water or should I give her bottled water?

All of my animals water is reverse osmosis water and I put electrlyte additives in it. I am a firm believer in not using tap water. If you do use tap then let it sit out in the container for at least 48 hours for the gasses to escape.:main_thumbsup:

we use regular tap water with ReptiSafe by ZooMed, it works wonderes, never had any problems.

I use my Pur filter off the tap, then treat the water for chems, then it sits open for a day or two.

I get Reverse Osmosis water at my local Weis Markets for $0.35 a gallon...

The one good thing about living out here in the boonies is that we have very good well water that has never been treated with chemicals.

I used filtered tap water, and have for over 11 years!

I have been using bottled water for over 11 years here because of the high ammonia and nitrate content in our towns well water from run off from fertilizer in the corn and soy bean fields
I don't drink our tap water either

Thank you everyone. I drink bottled water and I think I will just use it I don't trust our city water. Should I still add something else or will that be ok?
