A Friend in Need

A friend of mine is moving back home from college and her dad's not letting her keep her reptiles. She asked me if I wanted to take in her leos, I could prolly take in one. But as for the other leos and snakes she has, we have friends across the country that would love them, but she went to FedEX to see if she could ship them, and they said that you can only ship animals if they you are a breeder/pet store. So if anyone wanted them, they'd have to drive there. Since I like about 3 hours from her, it's not that bad. But I don't have a car or an actual license.

So, I'm asking, does anyone else know what she can do? She hasn't heard back from UPS to see what they could do. Any suggestions will be of much help. Thanks guys! 8D

UPS will ship reptiles but they are not insured. I would suggest checking out ShipYourReptiles.com, it's slightly cheaper than going straight through UPS, and simplifies the whole issue of dealing with a shipping company. Good luck.
