leo question

i have a female leo and when she shedded her new skin not the shed ripped off around her nose holes
is something wrong with her?
What should I do?

That can happen when they don't have enough humidity and the shed gets stuck to their skin. Is it healing on it's own? Normally you could put a little antibiotic ointment on it but being that the tears are around her nose she may lick it off which is not good for them.

I'd just keep a close eye on her and see if she does ok on her next go around. If you'd feel more comfortable having a professional opinion, I'd take her to the vet and just get a check-up done. Your vet will be able to communicate to you severity, and answer any questions or concerns you may have.

Just make sure its a reptile vet, because some vets dont know anything about reptiles.
