Hard ball under skin of leopard gecko front right arm

I have 4 geckos that have been together since birth. They are around 8 and all in good health. Eating drinking, shedding skin properly. Excuse me
If I do not use correct terms.
Today I noticed a large bump on the fattest lizards elbow area on his front arm. It made the use of the arm null and it just dragged. Made it hard to move. I picked him up and gently squeezed it and puss and blood came out. I could feel the “ball” smushing inside and then it shot out through the skin. It was white and rock hard and left a small hole in the skin. The lizard did not sqirm
Or attempt to bite. It was as if he was happy it was taken away. Once put back in the cage he can now use it as normal.
Can anyone tell me what that was and if it is a normal thing? First time I have seen this in 8 years.
they eat superworms, crickets and roaches.

thanks in advance

It's probably an abscess, or a bunch of pus due to infection. I'd recommend that if it comes back again you contact a reptile vet because the gecko may need antibiotics at that time.
