How often do you change moss in humid hide?

I am curious as to often people change the moss in their leo's humid hides. I have been using sphagnum moss, not sure how much this answer changes based on different materials used. Thanks!

I really dont believe in moss in my leos terrariums. I just use a 4:1 Sand to soil ratio and spray the sand once a week. But from what I have been told by breeders who use it, they take it out once a month and just wash it.
