i had 2 eggs laid by one of my females and both eggs seem just fine but now close to hatching one of the eggs looks as if its dying. Does this usually happen?
Any egg can be infertile from the beginning but not shrivel up until many weeks have gone by, or can be fertile but have fetal death. Also, some eggs look as if they're dying just before they hatch. In any pair of eggs, what happens to one is independent from the other unless the incubation conditions or fertility of the geckos isn't normal. Keep both eggs till they either hatch or stink.
